And just what is it Mr. Bundy is accused of saying that was "racist?" He expounded on his personal observation that Negroes are being enslaved by the welfare state, and he opined that they are no better off now than they were as officially recognized slaves. And this is undeniably –if inconveniently—true. At least as slaves, their children weren't aborted in federally funded clinics and their progeny who did escape what Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger called "the answer to the Negro 'problem'" were not condemned to spend their adult years in federally funded prisons.
The point here is that Mr. Bundy's remarks were about what Star Parker described as "Uncle Sam's Plantation," and touched on race only in so far as Negroes are disproportionately eviscerated by the welfare state. That makes Mr. Bundy about as racist as Billy Graham would be anti-Christian for pointing out that Christians are being murdered and mutilated by Muslims.
And while such an observation would be inconvenient to the officially sanctioned "religion of peace" Perception Control campaign, that inconvenience would render Reverend Graham's statement no less true – and, more importantly, no less relevant.
Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson was recently ostracized for what were frenetically derided as "racist" remarks. Now, I may have an advantage here over most of the federal agents in the Managed State Media in that I have actually lived in South Arkansas and Northern Louisiana. My son graduated from Louisiana Tech in Monroe Louisiana, the same school from which Phil Robertson graduated. I've worked and hunted and broke bread and drank beer with these people – black and white. And what Phil Robertson said is true. Unfortunately what he said was also inconvenient to the party line.
Racist has become a word as meaningless as sonofabitch. It's been used as a pejorative so many times it no longer has any relation to the actual meaning of the word. If I were to point out the documented and incontrovertible fact that President Obama is a bastard, I would be accused of racism. Not because what I said was untrue, but because it was inconvenient. If racism means anything at all anymore, it means "inconvenient truth."
