I graduated from North Side High School in Fort Wane Indiana – the proud home of the North Side Redskins. And I find it highly offensive that some addle-brained, rum soaked, out of touch Washingtonians find our team's name disturbing.
And I find it highly offensive that an impersonal and impartial legal function of the United States government, the Patent and Trademark Office, has been bastardized to enforce the warped and racist fantasies of a delusional minority.
If you clowns in Washington are so hopped up on democracy, let's put it to a vote. There's an election coming up in November. Let's put a referendum on the ballot in all fifty States: "Do you find the name Washington Redskins offensive?"
That would be more honest that sneaking around behind our backs trying to force your distorted views on the rest of us. But honesty, of course, is not a familiar word around Washington.
Personally, I find the name of the DC baseball team far more offensive. Who the hell in their right mind would want to be called a Washington Senator?

I should like to share with you a letter I received from Texas Senator Dan Patrick.
Thank you very much for sharing your website on citizen activism. I appreciate the support I am receiving from people like you to enlist others to join you in standing for the issues you value. While times are difficult for many right now, we must all stay vigilant, involved, and hold our officials accountable. Please know I am working hard to create the best public policy, and I will continue to fight for what is best for Texans. Your input is very important to me. Please feel free to contact me in the future on any matter.
It is an honor to serve you in the Texas Senate.
May God bless,
