Realists are quiet and thoughtful – delusionalists are bellicos, boisterous, and bullheaded.
Realists effect change by working within the natural laws decreed by the structure of the universe – delusionalists try to change the laws of the universe through pretense, propaganda, and persecution.
Realists recognize evolution as a natural and inevitable mechanism of species survival in a hostile and continually changing environment – delusionlists view evolution as an attack on their cherished mythologies.
Realists are well informed and make decisions based on factual evidence – delusionalists refuse to let facts deter them from making decisions based on emotional convictions.
Realists are aware that duplicity and deception are counter to the laws of nature and will inevitably result in disaster – delusonalists imagine that through the power of persistent insistence they can make the truth whatever they want it to be.
Realists appreciate the innate diversity of mankind and realize that the only way you can have a peaceful and productive society is for everyone to agree to abide by a set of rules – delusonalists believe that everyone must be made equal, and they try to impose rules designed to make everyone fit into the mold they've decided is best for them.
Realists, in other words, are republicans – and delusionalists are almost always democrats.
