The NOAA report arrives at its specious conclusion by comparing cherry picked data to the 20th century "average" temperature, ignoring the far more severe excursions from the average that occurred in the 1910s, the 1930s, and the 1970s. The hottest month on record in the United States is still July 1936. And 2014 ain't even close.
The "report" also fails to explain how our summers could supposedly be getting warmer while our winters are demonstrably getting colder. Many of my Canadian friends report snow cover this year as much as a month earlier than usual. All indications are that this winter will be even more severe than last winter, which was phenomenally cold.
And what does the Unindicted Nations hope to accomplish by belaboring the discredited myth of global warming? What else but what has become the primary objective of that body – the global distribution of American wealth.
The truth is that these scare mongers have no idea what they're talking about. They are no more familiar with the mechanisms driving the climate of our planet than are scientists who have dedicated decades of their lives to studying the subject. We simply don't know all the factors affecting naturally occurring climate change.
We do know, however, that carbon dioxide has nothing to do with it.
It may well be that the earth and the other inner planets are warming up, as they have millions of times before throughout the history of the solar system. But to imagine that a measly 7 billion green plant parasites could conceivably be causing that warming requires an overweening egotism – as well as a profound ignorance.
"No matter if the science of global warming is all phony…climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world." – Christine Stewart (former Canadian Minister of the Environment)
