We have one week to familiarize ourselves with the issues, with the US Representatives from our district, and with the candidates for offices in our State. We need conservatives in the US House of Representatives and we need people in our State governments who will listen to the people and will fight back against federal encroachment on the Constitutionally guaranteed rights of our States.
Our major objective in this election has got to be to dethrone Harry Reid and turn the US Senate red. To fail in that endeavor will be tantamount to disbanding the US House of Representatives for two more years. So, in some cases, we may have to hold our noses and vote for a Mich McConnell or a Thad Cochran, but we can still send them a message that the sleeping giant is awakening and that they had better shape up.
This election will, of course, be a referendum on Obama, so that will be to our advantage. Although Democrats seem numb to the fact (as they are to most facts), Americans are fed up with NSA spying, IRS persecution, VA executions, US support of Muslim terrorism, open borders, Obamacare, and a President who lies even about his golf score.
But that doesn't mean we can let out guard down.
I know this sounds trite, but it is imperative that you get yourself and your family and everyone you know out and vote next Tuesday. 2012 demonstrated quite painfully that the Cook County propensity for election fraud has gone national. So we have an uphill battle. The deck is already stacked against us – and we can't afford any slackers.
We must demonstrate that, even though the other side is cheating, honest and sincere republicans can still win – and we must carry that momentum into 2016.
