Professor Eikell submitted a request to NIS and received a grant to fund his excursion to the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in Antarctica to launch weather balloons to measure the ozone concentration in the ionosphere. And sure enough, there was a thin spot in the ozone layer over the South Pole, proving conclusively that Freon leaking from the penguins' air conditioners was destroying the ionosphere.
This finding was instrumental in the 1986 founding of the Montreal Protocol, which achieved Professor Eikell's actual objective of decimating the American industries of air conditioning, urethane foam production, and medical instrument sterilization.
There will always be alarmists touting impossible disaster scenarios, from global over population to an ISIS invasion. And there will always be low-information people gullible enough to believe them. We level headed republicans tend to chuckle, shake our heads, and move on. But these attacks on sanity, humorous though they may be, are not the inane mental maunderings of idiots. They are carefully designed and crafted assaults on the prosperity and wellbeing of the United States of America.
President Obama recently concluded an agreement with China to limit American industrial emissions of carbon dioxide, a gas necessary to the continuation of life on this planet. The Chinese must be laughing all the way to the bank. They convinced the foolish Americans to restrict their industrial output and weaken their economy – to the immense advantage of China's economy and industrial strength. And all they had to do was allow the foolish Americans to fall victim to their own algoreism – the myth of global warming.
Any treaty between the United States and China must be ratified by the US Senate. We must urge our senators to reject this attempt to hamstring American industry and impose restrictions on the production of power for American homes. America simply cannot afford the global warming algoreism.
