But is it true? Or is it, like most things that come out of Washington DC, an invertonym – a lie constructed by labeling a thing with the name of its opposite? Do Black lives really matter, or is this slogan an attempt to cover up the fact that Black lives don't matter at all?
If Black lives really mattered to Al Sharpton, he would be inciting protests against Planned Parenthood for their persistent abortion genocide. There are 1,876 Black children aborted every day in the United States. If it weren't for those 20 million aborted Black babies since 1973, the Black population would be 56 million instead of its current 36 million. This is a true waste – and a truly tragic waste – of Black lives.
Yet Mr. Sharpton prefers to rant endlessly about one hopped up welfare punk who was so high on drugs he thought he could dodge a peace officer's bullets. Do black lives really matter to Mr. Sharpton, or is he interested only in the ones he can hype to milk the White guilt he has artificially induced?
If Black lives really mattered to Erick Holder, he would be mobilizing the forces of the Department of Justice to curtail the rampant slaughter of Blacks in our nation's inner cities. Blacks comprise 12.6% of the American population, yet they account for 80% of American murder victims. And more than 90% of the murderers of those 19 Black people killed every day are other Blacks.
Yet Mr. Holder prefers to spend taxpayer dollars flying to Ferguson Missouri to stoke the smoldering discontent incited by the opportunistic propaganda pandered by White racist shills like Sharpton and Jackson. Do Black lives matter to Mr. Holder, or only the Black lives of racial agitators who speciously mirror his delusions that Blacks are the perennial victims of slavery and White oppression?
If Black lives really mattered to Barack Obama, he would be pushing Congress to enact legislation to roll back the Black community's greatest threat – the Johnson curse, aka welfare. He would be initiating and using his bully pulpit to urge the American people to get behind programs to rescue Black youths from the certain fate of incarceration and to retrain them to be useful and productive American citizens.
Instead, Mr. Obama is urging for "retraining" of White peace officers. Do Black lives mater to Mr. Obama, or only the Black lives that vote and caddy?
So, to whom do Black lives matter? They matter to the peace officers, most of them White, who go daily into the ghettos to risk their own lives to try to curtail the violence and stop the murders and save a few Black lives. These are the only people who have the moral right to carry a banner proclaiming "Black lives matter." Because they have demonstrated at great personal cost that they truly believe it.
