Meanwhile, the Obama administration, smelling an opportunity in this initiative to seize federal control of education, dispatched numerous operatives to the various committees writing the Common Core standards to make sure they would become "Communist Core," or "Obamacore" standards.
Of the fifty States, only Texas, Alaska, Virginia, and Nebraska had the foresight not to prostitute the education of their progeny to a federal usurpation of primary education. But as so-called common core has been implemented, there has been more and more agitation in more and more States to join these prescient four in keeping Obamacore out of their kids' classrooms.
The above case study illustrates the ease and facility with which the federal government can hijack a well-meaning private sector initiative to turn it to the advantage of the Fascist government in Washington. They have the power and they have the malevolence to take over and control any program with impunity and anonymity.
There is a gaggle of misillusioned patriots loose in America today who are fomenting for the invocation of an Article V convention to amend the Constitution in order to "reign in our out of control federal government." To date they have deluded only three State legislatures of a required 33 to join in their fools' quest, but they must be stopped before they garner enough fools to enable the destruction of the Constitution.
To open our Constitution – the only thing that stands between us and its deadly enemies – to amendment under the control of its deadly enemies is a recipe for disaster. The proponents of such a fool hardy move assure us that an Article V Constitutional convention would proceed in an orderly fashion with only delegates from the several States in attendance.
But even if the federal government were not formally represented at such a convention, I guaran-damn-tee you they would employ all the nefarious forces at their command to protect their hegemony from such noxious amendments as term limits and a balanced budget.
What kind of delegations do you think we'd be getting from California – or Illinois or Ohio or Pennsylvania or Florida – let alone New York? The big city Democrat machines in those and many other States would be fomenting for retraction of the Second Amendment, followed in close order by the First, Fourth, Fifth and Tenth Amendments. They would pluck our Constitution like a scalded chicken before we knew what was happening.
And they would have the support of the Managed State Media (MSM) behind them, as well as staffing, financial, and operational support from the Fascist machine in Washington. I don't know how far they would get in dismantling our Constitution, but the more cogent point is that those who are clamoring to give them the chance have no idea how far they would get either – primarily because they are blissfully unaware that they exist.
Proponents of an Article V Constitutional convention rely on a childish faith in the institution of democracy. But the problem with democracy is that it's so easily hijacked. A consideration of the stolen elections from Kennedy's 1960 squeaker over Richard Nixon to Obama's outrageously obvious theft of the 2012 election should be enough to convince even the most adamant skeptic of the truth of Joseph Stalin's famous maxim that "Those who vote determine nothing; those who count the vote determine everything."
Those in power rule. This is a basic truth that even the most ardent of Article V pushers would not contest. Yet they are asking us to pimp the only defense we have against the power of those who rule to be prostituted to the power of those who rule.
The only logical conclusion a rational republican can come to is that Article V pushers are either stupid or they are federal shills working to convince us to cooperate in the destruction of the Constitution of the United States.
