At 4:33 PM on April 1st, she tweeted: "Are you kidding me? Indiana Pizzeria raises $17,000 in an hour for being bigoted?" Then, at 6:46, she tweeted again: "I have reported the GoFundMe for Memories Pizza for fraud. Just in case."
So it's inconceivable to this harpy of the press that people would reach out to help an obvious victim of media harassment. There's only one explanation here. It must be a fraud.
After she apparently confirmed the fund was legitimate, she tweeted: "I'm still scratching my head. Why does this pizza place need $25,000? And the fundraiser is being done by a news enterprise?"
So, it's impossible for Miss Bryan to comprehend why anyone would need help just because their livelihood had been destroyed by the media for no other reason than to manufacture political disinformation for the masses.
"And you're telling me." she wonders, "that the person (whose identity I still suspect) who started this fund is a fellow newsperson? how can that be? How can any news organization not jump on the bash-a-bigot band wagon? I thought that was one of our primary jobs as members of the press."
One of the respondents to Alix Bryan's ranting was James Jobes @JrJobes, who demonstrated his disconnect from reality by tweeting: "Makes you think attention and money was the goal all along"
Oh, yeah, Mr. Jobes. The O'Connor family, desperate for attention and hungry for wealth, invited the press in to trash their livelihood of nine years for the short term gain of less than a year's profit from their business? If that makes sense to you, Mr. Jobes, you have a great future in what passes today for journalism.
Where do these people come from? How do they get that clueless? First of all, by selection. Only a witless Alix Bryan, incapable of thinking for herself, is admitted to the hallowed halls of journalism. If a Sharyl Attkisson actually reports actual news, she must be drummed out of the corps. Actual news can be damaging to the agenda of the Managed State Media.
These are the people who are writing your "news" stories, America – a coterie of brainwashed zombies mindlessly parroting the historical revision and current party spin emanating from the Ministry of Truth (aka White House Press Corps) in the West Wing of the Obama castle.
These people are not liars per se. They have simply been trained to use the "news" as a tool to promote and reinforce the current version of "truth." And they are so mesmerized by the persistent clamor of the Washington echo chamber that they are oblivious to the fact that the truth is not what it was last week.
These are the same automatons who performed so admirably for Joseph Geobles in augmenting Adolph Hitler's occupation of Germany in the 1930s. Hitler, however, had an advantage. The European populace at the time was less than two generations from the mindless subjects of the European monarchies that had been destroyed by World War I. The tradition of subservience to royal authority was still strong in the European psyche in 1938.
American media morons, however, are facing the ninth generation of a People steeped in a 240 year tradition of freedom and independence. The dismal ratings performance of MSNBC, CNN, and even ABC, CBS, and NBC attest to the fact that free-thinking Americans are a people who refuse to be pressed into the mold of Fascist conformity.
People like Alix Bryan are blissfully unaware of this obvious fact. They sit in their dingy little spider holes and spin their webs of deception, telling themselves that they are changing the world, while the world is either ignoring them or laughing at them. They remind me of C. S. Lewis' lunatic, trying to put out the sun by scribbling "darkness" on the walls of his cell.
