If the People of the United States want fewer guns, they have a strange way of showing it. According to ATF data, from 2001 to 2007, firearms production in the United States was relatively steady at between 3 and 4 million weapons per year. In 2008, it broke the 4 million mark, and by 2009, Obama's first year in office, it was up to 5.6 million. By 2012, it had topped 8.6 million guns per year, and in the following year,2013, it hit a record 10.8 million. That's one firearm for every 28 Americans. One out of every nine families-of-three in American bought a gun – in one year!
It is painfully obvious that the American People want guns! But who cares what the People want?
The People of Florida, Indiana, Alabama and a host of other States have had their State Constitutions nullified by federal courts who have arbitrarily overturned Constitutional bans on queer marriage. Now, the Supreme Court of the United States is debating whether or not the People want queer marriage.
Tom Fitton's Judicial Watch filed a brief with the Court in which they said, "Most of the States where the traditional definition of marriage has been changed has been done through judicial actions and not the will of the people. And in fact, [in] several States including California and Virginia where the voters clearly desired to maintain the traditional definition of marriage, state administrators and federal courts denied their collective voices. .. courts have declared through judicial fiat that the millions of voters who democratically adopted the marriage amendments were wrong, thereby abridging the right to vote of each and every one of those citizens."
We don't need the Supreme Court of the United States to tell us that the People don't want queer "marriage." We have said over and over and loud and clear,"We don't want queer marriage." But who the hell cares what the People want?
The People of the United States want affordable health insurance and cheap and effective medical care. What Obama has given them is cancellation of the plans "they could keep if they liked them. Period!" and forced purchase of more expensive plans with fewer benefits, along with skyrocketing medical costs and medical care rationing.
The People don't want Obamacare. But who gives a sh** what the People want?
The Constitution of the United States is a contract between the People and the government they created. That contract has been broken – and is being broken on a daily basis – by the government. When are we going to do something about that?
