The writer of the Times Article, Frank Buni, elaborated, “His (Mitchell Gold's) command is worthy—and warranted. All of us, no matter our religious traditions, should know better than to tell gay people that they’re an offense.”
Excuse me, Mr. Buni, but queer people are an offense to the vast majority of human beings – the "vast majority" being 98.3% according to the Williams Institute at UCLA Law School. And they are not offensive to us because of our religion, Mr. Buni. They are offensive to us because of our survival instincts.
Morality is not, as some would have us believe, an exclusive attribute of religion. Morality is an essential component of civilization. Religion is just the functionary of civilization traditionally responsible for the maintenance of morality.
Common sense and history both tell us that the decay of morality in a society is a precursor to the society's demise. From the fall of the Roman Empire to the collapse of the Third Reich, the cancer of immorality has always been a terminal disease. Morality is not adherence to the laws of some god. It is the observance of the rules of civility necessary to the survival of a civilized society.
When Mr. Gold speaks of the "sin list," he is referring to the moral restraints that hold society together – the "thou shalt nots" that, if universally observed, allow men to function together to their common advantage without killing each other.
Men are not ants. They are ruthless egomaniacs who naturally want to murder, rape, and pillage, and who are constrained only by the church's "sin list" and by the State's threat of retaliation. And anyone who has been watching the news lately has seen in Baltimore the results of removing the State's threat of retaliation when there is no restraint of the church's "sin list."
I am not suggesting that Mr. Gold is an anarchist whose goal is the destruction of civilization. I don't credit Mr. Gold with that level of intelligence. Mr. Gold is simply a misguided faggot who has been deluded into believing that his lifestyle choice should trump other people's choices.
Worse still, he has been deluded into believing that he has a mission to turn the whole world queer – starting with our children in grade school. Mr. Gold's faithinamerica.org website offers curricula and lesson plans to assist teachers in convincing their students that sodomy and falatio are normal sexual activities.
This queer indoctrination is obscured, of course, by the masquerade of preventing alleged discrimination against alleged queer kids. I have news for Mr. Gold. I'm not stupid. I went to grade school and I'm intelligent enough to remember grade school. There were no queer kids!
There are no queer kids in grade school, Mr. Gold. I was there, and there aren't any. Kids at that age have not yet developed sexuality. What you are clearly trying to do is to develop your queer sexuality in them.
Mr. Gold is clearly an agent. He's not smart enough to think up queer indoctrination on his own. Besides, we've had queers around for at least the last 10,000 years, and they've never tried to convert the rest of us to their perversion until now.
So who is it that's behind Mr. Gold and Mr. Buni and the other members of the sodomy lobby? Who is trying to force the perversion of sodomy on us?
And who is to enforce Mr. Gold's "command" that "churches must be made" to take sodomy off the sin list? In Germany, it was jack booted agents of the Gestapo.
