Sources within the Obama administration are saying that The President will be announcing the re-opening of diplomatic relations with Cuba within the next few weeks. The sources said that in early July the administration will advise Congress, as required by law, of its intention to open a US embassy in Havana, giving Congress 15 days under the law to react
We must urge Congress to react negatively to this illegal act by the Criminal-in-Chief.
The Helms-Burton Act, passed by Congress on 6 march 1996 and signed by President Clinton 6 days later, Prohibits US recognition of a transitional government in Cuba that includes Fidel or Raúl Castro. It further prohibits recognition of a Cuban government that has not provided compensation for U.S. certified claims against the Cuban government for non-residential property with an excess of $50,000 value confiscated by Cuba in 1959.
The Helms-Burton Act has not been repealed. It is still active and must be obeyed and respected by the President of the United States. If President Obama is too ignorant of the law to know this, he surely must have advisors in his administration who are capable of pointing it out to him.
Why then is the President of the United States intent on deliberately breaking the law of the United States?
Under the Cuban-American Treaty of 1903 following the Spanish American War, the United States leased a 45 square mile section at the southeastern end of Cuba known as Guantanamo Bay for a coaling station. (In 1903, navy ships ran on coal-fired steam engines.)
Since 2002, Guantanamo Bay has been used by the United States as a prison for enemy combatants captured in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other countries in the war on Islam – aka the war on terror.
The Cuban-American Treaty of 1903 specifies that the Guantanamo Bay lease can be dissolved only by mutual agreement between the two nations. Thus, until there are diplomatic relations between the two nations, President Obama cannot carry out his 2008 promise to close Guantanamo Bay and release all the Muslim combatants being held there back to the battlefield.
And why would the President of the United States want to release the enemies of the United States to kill more citizens of the united States? Because the President of the United States is a Muslim, and as a Muslim he is compelled by his religion to place the desires of his fellow Muslims above the welfare of the non-Muslim People of the United States.
Yes, the President took an oath to defend the People of the United States, but the Muslim principle of Hudaybiyya pronounces lying to infidels an exemplary act for Muslims. Furthermore, under the koranic sanctioned practice of Taqiyya, a Muslim may pretend to be an infidel if his deception furthers the Islamic cause of world domination.
This whole effort to normalize relations with Cuba is a red herring. The objective has never been humanitarianism or justice. The objective is to release Muslim haters and killers of Americans to kill more Americans – because they are Muslims.
We must contact our representatives in Washington and remind them of the still extant Helms-Burton Act of 1996. (Hint: approach them as though they were already aware of Helms-Burton. Though many of them may not be, it might embarrass them to point that out because in their job they are supposed to know such things.)
We must stop the wholesale release of Muslim murderers in the name of Islam. Americans died to capture these fiends and lock them up. We owe it to those Americans to keep them locked up!
