One of the many avenues of attack we must utilize is legislative annulment. I urge all who are reading this to email the following message to your US Senators and Representative, replacing Texas with your State in the last paragraph (if applicable) and signing with your name and city at the end.
Thank you for your patriotism.
Honorable Senators and Representative:
The current activist Supreme Court has violated its contract with the American People by rewriting the US Constitution to enforce conduct that is prohibited in the Constitutions of the several States. The Court has egregiously exceeded its authority by usurping the right of self determination granted to the several States in the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution.
It is incumbent on us as free men, therefore, to rectify this assault on our Constitutionally guaranteed rights by legislatively annulling this illegal decision by the Supreme Court.
I am recommending that the Congress enact a "Tenth Amendment Reaffirmation Act" Such Act should state simply and clearly that:
"The decision on the legality of same-sex marriage is Constitutionally reserved to the several, separate States and is Constitutionally prohibited to any branch or agency of the federal government, including the Supreme Court of the United States and all inferior federal courts. Any and all previous federal court decisions on the legality of same-sex marriage are herewith declared to be null and void."
Thank you for your attention to and consideration in this matter and for your continued service to the People of Texas in the Congress of the United States.
The tragedy in this situation is that the current political climate in Washington DC makes it necessary to reaffirm the plain and simple directions for the proper conduct of government that are clearly specified in the Constitution of the United States.
