Earlier this year, Christiana Figueres, the executive secretary of the United Nation’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, admitted, "This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution,"
So there you have it, boys and girls. Global warming is an effort to destroy Capitalism.
And the President of the United States is at the forefront of this assault. Obama's biological father and Hawaiian mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, was a practicing Communist. And he imbued his son with the Marxist myth that Capitalism is evil.
This is the same flawed logic that says guns are evil. Capitalism is a tool, like a gun or a government, and like a gun or a government, it can be misused. But Capitalism – the use of machines (capital) to create wealth – is the most powerful of all the tools ever invented by mankind.
And Capitalists, far from being the bloated plutocrats depicted in Nast cartoons, are the risk-takers who create the automobiles and guns and computers and cell phones that the Communists use to promote and enforce their warped view of human history.
Yes, there are those within the Capitalistic system who misuse the tool of Capitalism for personal gain. But there are those within the government system who misuse the tool of government for their own gain. The difference is that Capitalism contains within itself the restraints of profitability and competition to control abuses of the system. Governments don't.
Communists like Figueres and Obama seem to be blissfully unaware of where wealth actually comes from. They seem to think the government creates it by printing paper scrip. But wealth is not money. Wealth is and always has been – from chipped stone spearheads to monolithic computer chips – the output of production. And the more capital (machine) intensive the production process, the more wealth intensive the product.
But Communists don't actually want to destroy production. Figueres spoke of "the task ... to change the economic development model that has been reigning ... since the Industrial Revolution," Communists don't want to destroy wealth creation. They just want to control it.
Communism is the result of the realization that Socialism cannot work in a human society by itself. If Socialism is to succeed, it must be enforced by the government. Communism, then, is the marriage of Socialism and Fascism. Ergo the government must control the means of production.
What the Fascist-Socialists (Communists) fail to understand, however, is that wealth production cannot be controlled. No committee of commissars could ever have invented the personal computer. It took a Steve Jobs in a garage to do that. Commissariats have a vested interest in the status quo. Therefore it took a maverick like Henry Ford to say, "the hell with the horse breeders and the buggy whip manufacturers," and invent the Model T.
Capitalism is driven by the profit motive, a concept that is anathema to egalitarian Socialism. All Fascist-Socialist (Communist) regimes can do therefore, is stifle the production of wealth. And in order to accomplish that dystopian dream, they are willing to invent and promote an enormous and preposterous lie like global warming.
