The easiest answer is Perception Control (PC). It’s very difficult to indoctrinate a child with Socialism when he’s just studied the fate of the utopian Pilgrim colony at Plymouth in 1620, or of Robert Owens’ disastrous and blessedly short lived Socialistic experiment in New Harmony Indiana in 1825. History is knowledge – knowledge that insulates us from Perception Control attacks. And the purveyors of mind control techniques try ardently to suppress it.
Depreciators of history not infrequently justify their stance with the bromide “History is written by the winners,” an implication that all history is unreliable. That is simply not true. Case in point: in 1866, E. A. Pollard published The Lost Cause, a Southern history of the Civil War. Anyone truly interested in a balanced view of the conflict has access to both sides’ points of view on its causes and its progress. Besides, future historians will look back on the present with a dispassionate eye that recognizes neither winners nor losers.
It is true that the portrayal of current events is warped by current political priorities, with androgynous males portrayed as normal and allowed to use girl’s restrooms, and with religiously deranged decapitators, with shemaghs covering their cowardly faces like women’s niqabs, portrayed as freedom fighters. But later historians, removed from the impetus of political expediency and aware of the results, will inevitably sort fact from fiction and present a truer picture of the events of the period than those who were too close to it.
But there is another – even more sinister– motivation than mind control behind the suppression of history. A nations history is the glue that binds it together. History is a ritualized form of ancestor worship, with a definite nationalistic emphasis. It is the means of indoctrinating our youth with the concept of what it means to be an American. And it is the thing that defines us as adult Americans. Without a knowledge of our common history, we are rudderless ships driven wherever the winds of propaganda and public opinion decide to drive us.
This result of historical suppression is not accidental. In the 1960s, a coterie of global money interests saw a threat to their business in the post-war ascendancy of the United States as the dominant world power. And they set out to rectify that situation – by destroying the United States. Under the original direction of David Rockefeller and the current direction of George Soros, the globalists have launched a progressive series of hysteria attacks – from Rockefeller’s 1960 overpopulation farce, through the acid rain bugaboo and the ozone depletion scam, to Soros’ global warming myth.
Rockefeller invented the puppet president weapon against American exceptionalism by buying Jimmy Carter the Presidency in 1976. Carter pardoned all Vietnam War evaders (on his second day in office), established two new executive agencies to regulate energy and education, and engineered the greatest loss in the value of the dollar in U.S. history (34.7% in four years).
Rockefeller followed up his success with Carter by buying the Presidency for another of his Trilateral Commission members – Bill Clinton – in 1992. Clinton was a bit of a bust. His performance in the first two years of his tenure were so bad that the voters resoundingly packed the Congress with Republicans in 1994, a situation that pertained – and prevented further damage – throughout his remaining six years in the White House.
George Soros followed Rockefeller’s lead by buying the Presidency for Barack Obama in 2008, and Obama has been far more successful at destroying the United States than Clinton. Among Obama’s more frightening accomplishments was so-called Common Core, which relegates history to a non-subject.
As Americans, it is incumbent on us to study American history and to impart it to our kids. After Carter’s Education Department and Obama’s Common Core, they sure as h*** ain’t getting it in school.
